Coming-of-Age Ceremonies for 2010 will be held in the 41 regions of Hamamatsu to celebrate the transition into adulthood. If you wish to attend, please contact the Lifelong Education Division of Hamamatsu City Hall, your local community center, the ward promotion division of your local ward office, or the local promotion division of your local service center.

ANNOUNCEMENT: RIVER PROTECTION LAW
In order to keep our rivers and lakes clean, Hamamatsu city prohibits the following actions near the Miyakoda and Atago rivers.
1-Littering or leaving garbage
2-Making loud noises (music, fireworks) between 10pm and 6am
3-Washing grills, plates, etc, in the river or lake (or dumping used water)
4-Urinating/defecating outside the provided bathrooms
As of April 1, 2009, anyone found doing these actions will be fined 5,000 yen
