Hamamatsu implemented a new trash disposal system that aims to recycle plastic shopping bags and decrease the overall amount of rubbish. Citizens should no longer use plastic shopping bags to throw out their non-plastic rubbish, but should instead purchase specified plastic rubbish bags sold at supermarkets, convenience stores, and home centers.
