International Understanding Educational Facilitator Training Course

Are you interested in learning how to more effectively express your opinions in the context of activities related to international understanding and multiculturalism at schools and in your region? By using the “participation model” technique, participants will feel the connection between themselves and the rest of the world through learning about international understanding education. In the final session, participants create their own program. Participants who attend all sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion.

How to use our precious planet in a sustainable way

Third Class September 5 (Sun.)10am-3pm
“Coexistence”
Thinking about multicultural coexistence through a community and global point of view.

Fourth Class September 26 (Sun.)10am-3pm
“Participation Model for Change”
What is the participation model? What is a facilitator?

Fifth Class October 31 (Sun.)9:30am-3:30pm
“Put into practice! Participation Model”
Actually experience creating programs and facilitation.

Fee 5,000 yen for 5 classes (4,500 yen for members, 2,500 yen for university students, free for high school students)

Up until the Third Class, you may register for individual classes
1,500 for 1 class (1,000 for members, 500 for university students, free for high school students)

You may register for only the Fourth and Fifth Class
3,000 yen for both days (2,000 yen for members, 1,000 yen for university students, free for high school students)
For Educators, NPO/NGO staff, Volunteers, anyone interested may apply
