Distribution of Information (HICE Project)

HICE NEWS

HICE NEWS is a newsletter containing information about HICE’s business activities and international exchange. It is published once a month and available in Japanese, English and Portuguese. HICE Members can have the publication delivered directly to their homes.

HAMAWAVE

Hamamatsu’s Coordinators for International Relations (CIR) make a publication called “HAMAWAVE” about thigs they have found bizarre in their Japanese studies, how Japan seems to foreign residents, topics relating to Hamamatsu, their own culture, movies, books, etc.

We are running our own website, HAMAPO (Hamamatsu Intercultural Portal Site)

Our Official Facebook Account

We are running our own official Facebook Accounts. We have one page in Portuguese and one in Japanese and English. We also run the Hamamatsu Foreign Resident Study Support Center (UTOC) page. Via these pages we share lots of different information.

Radio – FM Haro

Every Monday evening from 6pm, the Portuguese radio program “Amizade Hamamatsu” (Friends of Hamamatsu) is broadcasted. It features information for the city government.

Library Corner

HICE Members can borrow books on multiculturalism, international exchange, etc. for two weeks free of charge.

A variety of information is available from the Intercultural Center Help Desk.
