CALLING FOR APPLICANTS: 2013 FISCAL YEAR INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE & INTERCULTURAL PROMOTION PROJECT SUBSIDY FOR ORGANIZATIONS

HICE supports all kinds of international exchange and intercultural activities held independently by citizens. To receive the International Exchange & Intercultural Promotion Project Subsidy for Organizations you must meet the following criteria.(1) The organization’s activities must be based in Hamamatsu

(2) The organization’s purpose is to foster international exchange and cooperation,and to promote interculturalism or international understanding.

(3)Provisions for necessary management items such as purpose, organizational structure, representative etc. are in place.

(4) The organization is a non-profit organization.
Subsidy amount:
Within half the amount of eligible expenses (maximum of 300,000 yen). However, for activites that promote interculturalism, the subsidy amount will be a maximum of 500,000 yen to cover the expenses needed for implementation of activities.

Application period:
First term: Jun 1 - Jun 30
Second term: Nov 1 - Nov 30

External Consultation @ Festa Junina (Jun 29)

The Brazilian festival of Festa Junina was held at the Hamamatsu City Synthesis and Industry Exhibition Pavilion on Sunday June 29. The Hamamatsu Multicultural Center was at the event conducting mental health and daily life consultation.
