“Report on Project to an Evaluation System of Japanese Communication Skills in Hamamatsu”

We divided foreign residents living in Hamamatsu into two broad groups, “househusbands and housewives” and “workers and job seekers”. From here we researched into the type of Japanese Language Learning based evaluation that would motivate and empower them in their studies, . We also reported on how to spread awareness and understanding of Japanese Language Learning supports within their local community based on these visible evaluations. Thus, the evaluation criteria were developed to be used as a tool to increase for mutual understanding between Japanese and foreign residents. This report is on the development process and the evaluation criteria used.
