The Hamamatsu International Festival is one of the initiatives aimed at realizing the vision of Hamamatsu as a “city that creates new value and culture by embracing diversity,” as outlined in the Hamamatsu Intercultural City Vision.
Experience the world through performances by artists with roots in countries such as Brazil, Peru, the Philippines, and Indonesia, as well as delicious dishes from around the globe!
This year’s festival features fun activities for the whole family, including a Mexican “Calavera” craft booth, an Indonesian cultural experience booth, and a stamp rally.
Come and spend a day in Hamamatsu feeling connected to the world!

Pop-up Intercultural Center

October is the “Intercultural Month”. We will set up a temporary Intercultural Center at Hamamachi Plus on the west side of the venue.
“What is the Intercultural Center in the first place? What kind of activities do they do?”
We’ll answer all your questions! Feel free to stop by and take a look!
- Stamp Rally Goal
We are hosting a stamp rally at the venue!
Collect 5 stamps or signatures from different booths and bring them to the “Pop-up Intercultural Center” to receive a prize!
