Join HICE!

You can join HICE as an Ordinary Member (Individual) or Patron (Individual or Corporate).

The members of HICE play a “supporter type” role in the promotion of internationalization in the Hamamatsu area. They are supporting HICE’s activities with the aim of creating a society where both Japanese and foreign residents can live together.

For Ordinary Members (Individual)

As a member, you will receive our newsletter “HICE NEWS” and notice of events directly to your home. You also receive a priority in application to our courses and events, free loan of our books, a discount on all of HICE’s publications and courses, amongst other benefits. We hope that you will join HICE for volunteer activities and to take part in international exchange in your community!

Patrons (Corporate)

As well as the above you will receive

• Translation Services……English, Portuguese, Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese (up to 2A4 pages is free). Translation of other languages can be organized for a fee.

• You can use HICE NEWS for Advertisements …… You can publish articles and advertisements in our bulletin HICE NEWS (monthly circulation of 5,000 copies, distributed to public facilities, foreign shops, etc.), distribute flyers and other materials on our pamphlet stand, and we will add links to your website in the supporting member section of our website.

• Introduction to Personnel …… Introduction to Interpreters, Japanese Teachers, Foreign Language Teachers, etc. We organize the introduction and dispatch of lecturers for international understanding etc.

Membership Fee

Individual Membership	¥3,000 ( for one year)　¥5,000 (for two years)
Patron (Individual or Corporate) Membership	¥30,000 (yearly)

How to Become a Member?

You can apply to become a member by either: downloading and filling out an application form from below and emailing it or faxing it to us. We will send you a billing form for the annual fee.
