Prefectural Night School (Fuji-no-Kuni Junior High School)

A night school will be set up in April 2023 to teach the Junior High School Curriculum to those who, for any reason, were unable to go through compulsory education in the past.

The conditions to enroll are below:
・Must live in Shizuoka Prefecture
・Must have been born before 1 April 2008
・Persons who have not completed nine years of compulsory education in Japan or abroad, or who have graduated from junior high school without having attending a substantial amount of classes
・Foreign residents must have residence card with any residence status other than exchange student

The application must arrive between 1 July (Fri) and 8 July (Fri).
Applications are made by submitting the necessary documents to the Shizuoka Prefecture Board of Education’s Compulsory Education Division. Each applicant will be interviewed individually for about 20 minutes.

Iwata Main School Building (1-6-16 Nakaizumi, Iwata City, Iwata “Tempei no Machi”, 3F)
17 June (Fri) from 17:30-19:00
25 June (Sat) from 14:00-15:30
