Interpretation and Translation

For Foreign Residents: Knowing and Understanding the Rules of Daily Life

We cooperate as necessary to provide translation services, dispatch interpreters for disaster prevention drills, and hold informational sessions on the activities of Neighborhood Associations and on how to properly dispose of garbage. Please make use of the foreign language notices for circulation below.

Instructor Referrals

For Japanese Residents: Understanding How to Live Together With Foreign Residents

We cooperate as necessary to provide referrals to appropriate instructors and more for lectures or seminars introducing the state of foreign residents in Japan, intercultural initiatives, or the cultures/societies of other countries, such as Brazil or the Philippines.

Planning

Support for Planning of Community Projects and Events

We cooperate as needed to effectively engage in attracting foreign resident participants for community projects and events such as disaster prevention drills, summer festivals, sports competitions, and neighborhood association meetings.

Consultations

Various Consultations

We give consultations on anything regarding interculturalism in communities.

Eligibility: For Neighborhood Associations in Hamamatsu
Cost: Consultations, planning, interpretation and translation are essentially free.
A separate fee may apply for services such as instructor fees.
